Dan Wolman (born October 28, 1941) is an Israeli film director. Films include "Tied Hands", "Ben's Biography", and "Foreign Sister".[1]

Biography

Wolman was born in Jerusalem, in what was then the British Mandate of Palestine. Wolman spent part of his childhood in Ethiopia. After completing high school, Wolman served in the IDF in the Nahal. After his military service Wolman studied film at the Film Institute of City College - New York between the years 1962-1965 and in the New York University film department between the years 1965-1968.

In 1974 and 1978 Wolman taught at the School of Visual Arts in New york and in 1981 he taught screenwriting and production at the Tel Aviv University.

Through the years Wolman has also been a judge in several international and Israeli film festivals.
